What kind of pasta should I use for this recipe for cream pasta salad?
This recipe calls for elbow macaroni but you can use whatever kind of pasta you like! This recipe is really easy to make. Just like all of my pasta salad recipes, it’s quick and simple. There’s no muss, no fuss, and anyone can make this great recipe at home.

- Add pasta to 6 quarts of lightly salted water. Cook according to the instructions on the bag. Remove pan from stove and drain the water.
- Rinse and dice celery and set aside.
- Rinse and dice carrots and set aside.
- Rinse and chop green peppers and set aside.
- Rinse and chop red peppers and set aside.
- Drain pickles, cut in half, and set aside.
- Cut cheeses into small cubes and set aside.
- Remove chilled pasta from fridge.
- Whisk the Italian dressing into the mayonnaise.
- Add the ingredients, except the cheese, to the top of the pasta. Add the dressing and using a large spoon, toss all the ingredients until well incorporated.
- Top the Macaroni Pasta Salad with the cheese and enjoy!
