How To Make Meatloaf with Pork Sausage?
Get your oven preheated and ready to go! Grab a medium mixing bowl, add all the yummy ingredients in it, and combine them together with either a wooden spoon or just get messy and use your hands. Form that delicious mixture into a loaf shape and place it in either a loaf pan or a 6×9 inch baking dish.
You can cook a batch of slow cooker baby potatoes while you make and bake your meatloaf to make dinner even easier.
Cover its top with half of the glaze you’ve made for extra flavor; then set ‘er up in the hot oven for 35-40 minutes until the golden knob on top is slightly browned – pull her out afterward, spread some more love sauce (aka meatloaf glaze) around her sides like icing over cake & let bake again at 350°F another 10 -15 mins so center won’t be pinkish anymore.
For the Glaze: Mix up this tasty combination in no time – grab a bowl, add ketchup and dijon mustard, and dump brown sugar on top. Give it all a good stir to create the perfect easy meatloaf glaze!
Why Put Crackers In Meatloaf?
Meatloaf with pork sausage is a timeless classic that can fill any kitchen with the delicious aroma of home-cooked comfort. But, without crackers playing their vital role, this all-in-one dish could quickly transform from tasty to terrible!
Crackers provide essential texture, which helps the meatloaf retain those mouthwatering juices and prevents it from drying out in the oven. So next time you whip up a batch of this homey delight, don’t forget to get your crumbly sidekick involved!
