We’ll start off with the necessities. You’ll need an 8×8 pan and some parchment paper. Lining the pans is important because it allows you to pull the fudge out once it’s chilled in one chunk. Then you can cut it into perfect squares.

While you are making your fudge you’ll need a mixing bowl and some spatulas to get everything perfectly smoothed out and ready to go! These are my favorites!

After the fudge is done and you are ready to slice it up and share it you’ll need some simple but pretty bakery boxes, a cutting board, and some sharp knives. Here are some great options.

This recipe uses chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, M&M’s, and some pretzels! You can use any kind of M&M’s, I used regular big ones but you could used flavored ones, mini M&M’s, or whatever you like.

How to make sweet & salty fudge:

Grease and line a 8″ x 8″ casserole dish and set aside.

Place the chocolate chips or almond bark in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in 30 second bursts in the microwave.

Stir well in between each reheating until the chocolate is completely melted.

Working quickly, add the sweetened condensed milk, to taste. (More sweetened condensed milk will result in a sweeter, fudgier texture, less will result in a creamier texture.)

Fold the fudge mixture into the casserole dish and then decorate as desired with halved pretzels and M&Ms.

Refrigerate 2 hours or overnight.

Ingredients

  • 1lb chocolate chips or almond bark
  • 5-6 Tablespoons sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup M&Ms
  • 1/2 cup pretzels, chopped

Instructions

  1. Grease and line a 8" x 8" casserole dish and set aside.
