Chocolate Cherry Cheesecake Dip
This is a chocolate cheesecake recipe that is perfect for parties, events, family gatherings and more. My chocolate cheery cheesecake dip is just as simple as the white chocolate version and can be saved with a variety of choices for dipping. Try out all of these quick and easy no bake desserts!
Last week I shared a delicious white chocolate cheesecake dip with you and everyone went a little crazy! It was instantly popular so I’m back with another version for the chocolate lovers!
We like to use everything from cookies to pretzels to dip into this chocolate cheesecake dip. You can use Nilla wafers like the photos show or you can serve it up with pretzels, plain crackers, cinnamon cookies, teddy grahams, and even sandwich cookies. I think the sweet and salty combo is great but you can go full on sweet with this recipe as well!
If you are looking for a better choice in terms of calories and dieting…I’d suggest you try some fresh fruit. This is so great with apple slices, strawberries, pineapples, and melon. Any sturdy fruit will work and it gives you a great lower calorie option to pair with this indulgent dip!
Here’s what you’ll need to make this chocolate cheesecake recipe:
This recipe is very simple and it’s got very simple ingredients. If the package of pudding is close but not exact you can still use it. I know some people were thrown by the package sizing in the the last recipe so I wanted to mention that. If it’s double or half obviously that will cause problems but anything close should work fine.
- 8 oz Cream cheese, room temperature
- 3.4 oz package instant chocolate pudding mix
- ¼ C Powdered sugar
- 1 C Heavy cream
- ⅓ C Mini semi-sweet chocolate chips, plus additional to garnish
- 10 oz Jar maraschino cherries, without stems
The only thing that takes a bit of time for this recipe is getting the cream cheese to room temperature. If you set out your cream cheese before you go to make this recipe you’ll be fine.
We live kind of far from most stores so I think it’s usually pretty much ready to go by the time we get back from the store…which works out nicely when I decide I want to make this dip but don’t have the ingredients on hand!
