Tips & Tricks:

Dip pretzel stick into a little bit of frosting before pressing it into top of “acorn” to help it stay. If you are having trouble getting the acorns to hold together properly you can leave the donuts out for a few hours so that they stiffen up, very fresh donuts might be more difficult to work with.

This recipe doesn’t include a serving size, because you decide whether you would like to make just a few, or the whole box! Also, they are donuts, they’re not exactly a recommended food group so 1 or 2 will be a perfect treat for anyone…or if you are having a bad day and eat half the box I guess that’s fine too 😉

If you are using my recipe linked above to make the donuts from scratch you will just make the donut part of the recipe. Don’t put on the churro flavorings or your acorns will end up looking a little wonky!
