Key lime pie and key lime flavored desserts are amazing. There’s something just a little bit sweeter about key limes.

They’re actually a bit different than regular limes so the flavors are understandably a bit different as well.

Key limes are yellow when ripe and smaller, more round in shape, with thinner skin. They don’t keep or store very well because of their thin skin, it’s best to buy them fresh if you can!

We’re starting off with a store bought crust…you can make your own with some graham crackers, melted butter, and extra time but I like things as easy as possible!

For the filling we will be using sweetened condensed milk, sugar, sour cream, key lime juice, and key lime zest! That’s it! Apart from the key limes themlseves most of these ingreidents are in our pantry or refrigerator regularly.
