Chocolate Covered Strawberry Cheesecake
Cheesecake is one of those recipes that people either love or hate. In this case, I’m happy to repot that I love it. Being a chocolate lover as well, I had to whip up a no-bake cheesecake recipe that had a little extra oomph in the chocolate department.
If you don’t love chocolate as much as I do you can always leave the chocolate topping off, it’s not going to take away from the deliciousness of the strawberry cheesecake overall…you’ll just be missing out on the amazing addition of chocolate 🙂

It’s pretty simple but there are three categories here; one for the crust, one for the cheesecake, and one for the topping! They’re all broken down so you know which ingredients you need for which part of this recipe for chocolate covered cheesecakes.

Is this a no-bake cheesecake recipe?
It is definitely a no-bake cheesecake recipe. They’re the best kind in my opinion! There’s no chance of anything getting burned or weird or overbooked. This no-bake cheesecake is delicious and quick to prepare. The berries and chocolate topping make this an incredibly indulgent treat.
Ingredients for the crust:
- 3 cups gluten free pretzel sticks
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
- ¼ cup brown sugar
Ingredients for the cheesecake:
- 2 8-ounce packages cream cheese, room temperature
- ½ cup sugar
- ¾ cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Ingredients for the topping:
- 2 cups chopped strawberries
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1/3 cup melted chocolate
How do I make these delicious chocolate covered cheesecakes?
- To make the crust, crush gluten free pretzel sticks in a food processor.
- Combine the crushed pretzels, melted butter, and brown sugar in a bowl and stir until the pretzels are coated.
- Press the pretzel mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sugar, heavy whipping cream, vanilla, and salt.
- Beat until smooth.
- Spread the mixture on top of the pretzel crust and smooth with a spatula.
- Top the cream cheese mixture with strawberries and blueberries.
- Drizzle melted chocolate on top of the berries.
- Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.

Is this a gluten free cheesecake recipe?
Yes! The great thing about using gluten free pretzels for the crust is that you end up with a gluten free cheesecake. If you don’t need to worry about the gluten you can use a regular type of pretzels for the crust, whatever works best for you will do fine in these cheesecakes.
Can I make this cheesecake in advance?
You can make this strawberry cheesecake in advance if you like. It needs some time to chill so making it beforehand is wise.
I’d also recommend holding off on putting the toppings on until the day that you are going to serve the majority of the cheesecake. It just makes for a more fresh and put together appearance overall!
