I love making homemade fruit or vegetable infused water recipes. You can make these recipes with your favorite infusion pitcher, or just make a batch and carry it with you in your favorite reusable water bottle!

It doesn’t matter how you decide to prep this recipe, you’ll be glad you did! This water recipe is one of my favorites. It’s lightly sweet, refreshing, and perfect for a healthy lifestyle.

Here’s what you’ll need to make this infused water recipe:

Making infused water recipes is really easy. No matter what flavors you like you can turn them into a great water recipe.

This one is really simple. Truly, it’s incredibly simple. You’ll need water, lemon slices, fresh strawberries, a pitcher, and a long spoon or a muddler!

That’s it and that’s all. Don’t let those simple ingredients fool you though, it’s all it takes to make an awesome and hydrating drink that everyone will love.

How to make strawberry lemon water:

Place lemon slices and strawberries in a pitcher. Gently muddle the fruit with the back of a spoon or muddler to release the natural flavors into the water. 

Cover with the fresh water and place in refrigerator for at least 12 hours.

Another reason to drink infused water is the added benefit of the vitamins and minerals that the fruit or vegetables will add to your water. As we muddle them and add them to the water we get the benefit of those micronutrients being added to the water which will further nourish our bodies!

Ingredients

  • 4 cups of water
  • 1 large lemon, cut into slices
  • 1 pint of fresh strawberries
  • Large spoon
  • Large pitcher
  • Long spoon or muddler
