Isn’t making homemade lemonade harder than using a mix?
Homemade lemonade really isn’t all that difficult to make. You can whip it up pretty easily and if you have a juicer it’s even easier!
When it comes to sweetener you can use a variety of things like agave, stevia, sugar, etc.
I usually use regular sugar but you can also use honey, agave syrup, stevia, or any type of artificial sweetener! If you are on Keto you can use the swerve sweeteners which work great and are low carb.
Make sure to use a conversion chart on the bag or you can use this link to figure out how to adjust from sugar to other options.
For this pink lemonade we’re using cranberry juice to give the lemonade that lovely pink hue. You can also use some pomegranate juice for the color but it will give it some of that same flavor!

Kitchen essentials for tasty recipes like this strawberry lemonade recipe:
When you head into the kitchen to make some of these great recipes (like strawberry lemonade) you’ll want to have the best tools on hand.
For this recipe we’ll need a cutting board, some knives, a juicer makes life easier too. Of course you’ll also need a pitcher and some glasses to serve up this tasty drink recipe. I like this stirring spoon for my pitchers of drinks as well!
I also like half sheet baking pans that are quality (hello no noisy pops or sloshed cookie dough from twisting), I line my cookie sheets with silicone baking mats. These are a must when doing cake mix recipes which can settle and become thin at lot easier than traditional cookie dough.
Of course mixing bowls, a mixer, spatula, and some whisks should be on your list if you don’t have ones that you love. I also like to have a set of cooling racks so that my recipes can properly cool before they’re scarfed down by my family!
