The Most Refreshing Strawberry Lemonade With Blueberries!

You are going to love this lemonade recipe. It’s so refreshing and delicious. I’ll admit, I’m usually a raspberry lemonade girl all the way but I make an exception for this strawberry lemonade with blueberries. There’s just something about it that tastes like summer.

I don’t drink a lot of juice, will I like this lemonade recipe?

I can’t say for certain but my guess is yes! I was never much of a juice drinker until I met my husband. He loves juice and we always have it in the house. After all these years I guess it has rubbed off on me because now I love a good lemonade recipe on a hot day.

Is there pulp in this strawberry lemonade?

Nope. You can make it with pulp if you like your juices that way but I strain mine so that I get all the flavor of the strawberries and blueberries without the chunks. I don’t like orange juice with pulp so I didn’t think I’d like this juice with pulp either.

That being said, feel free to just add the blended strawberries and blueberries if you like or don’t mind pulp in your juice. You’ll get more of those antioxidant benefits from the skin on the blueberries for sure!

What do I need to make this tasty lemonade recipe?

A few quick ingredients and you’ll be on your way to some delicious lemonade. I love making this recipe in the summer when we can get fresh fruit from the farmers market.

You can make this with a prepared lemonade or a homemade lemonade! Sometimes I make it with the Crystal Light pink lemonade and it’s pretty amazing!

  • 5-7 Fresh strawberries, washed, hulled and quartered
  • 10-15 Fresh blueberries, washed
  • 2 Quarts of lemonade
  • Ice

How to make strawberry lemonade with blueberries:

  1. Puree the strawberries and blueberries into a liquid.
  2. Strain through a fine mesh strainer to remove any pieces of fruit, skin, or seeds.
  3. This will make two pitchers of lemonade so you’ll need two pitchers or one very large one! Fill the pitchers with ice. About 1/4 pitcher of ice will be enough.
  4. Pour the strawberry and blueberry puree in with the ice, about half in each pitchers.
  5. Add lemonade until the pitcher is full.
  6. Stir well to blend.
  7. Pour into individual glasses…if you like to share 😉

Can I leave out the blueberries?

Yes. You can leave them out if you want to. Same goes for the strawberries. I would add more of which ever fruit you are keeping to make sure the flavor stays potent but you can absolutely leave one or the other out if you don’t like like or can’t have them!

Can I add other fruits to this recipe?

Absolutely! You can puree just about any kind of fruit and strain it and add it to your lemonade for a delicious fruity twist on a tried and true classic.
