This key lime pie recipe is similar to a fudge recipe. It’s great for making bite sized pieces of key lime pie that you can grab for a treat when you need some sweets.

Here’s what you will need to make the best recipe for key lime pie:

There’s nothing super complicated about this delicious and easy recipe for key lime pie. It’s all common ingredients and you can make this in whatever size baking dish you’d like but for the thickness pictured you’ll want to use an 8×8 baking dish or something similar.

If you are making a double batch you could probably use a longer baking dish without having any trouble!

  • 12 ounces of white chocolate chips
  • 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
  • 3/4 cup melted butter
  • 2 cups crushed honey graham crackers
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • Zest of one lime
  • 8×8 Baking pan lined with parchment paper
  • Cooking spray

I would definitely recommend lining the pan with parchment. It makes it so much easier to lift the block of fudge out of the pan when you are ready to cut it. It also means you don’t have to worry about damaging your pan when you try to cut it inside of the pan!

If you are using a glass baking dish you could probably skip it but I think the pieces come out a little nicer when they’re cut on a cutting board outside of the pan!

How to make easy key lime pie fudge:

You know I wouldn’t be interested in this recipe if it wasn’t pretty easy! This tasty dessert is a great choice if you are looking for a recipe that comes together easily and doesn’t require a lot of baking or cooking.

  1. Spray pan with cooking spray and cover bottom and sides of the pan with parchment paper and set aside. In a small bowl, mix melted butter into the crushed graham crackers. Press into your baking pan. Bake at 375 for 5-7 minutes. Allow to cool completely.
  2. Melt white chocolate chips in microwave in 30 second bursts until completely melted and smooth. Do not cook for more than 30 seconds at a time or you will burn the chocolate. Mix in the sweetened condensed milk.
  3. Add zest of ½ of the lime to the lime juice. Mix into the melted chocolate mixture.
  4.  Add mixture to the pan and spread evenly.
  5. Add remainder of lime zest to the top of the fudge.
  6. Cover baking pan with foil and place in refrigerator until fudge is firm.
  7. Place fudge on cutting board and cut into 2” pieces and enjoy!

Is this a no cook fudge / no bake recipe?

Absolutely, there’s no baking and no cooking involved in this recipe. You have to melt the chocolate but other than that there’s no heating involved.

That means you don’t have to worry about curdling milk, burning the liquid, or other common problems found with fudge recipes that need to be cooked.

What does this fudge taste like?

The key lime pie flavor in this fudge is pretty prominent. I’d describe this as a white chocolate fudge with citrus flavor of the key lime. It’s a nice balance between the acid of the citrus and the sweetness of the white chocolate.
