Do I need to add coloring to this recipe?

I think the coloring is fun and festive but you definitely don’t need it. It’s not going to impact the flavoring or the consistency of the ice cream.

Feel free to skip the coloring if you don’t want to add it! If you want to get fancy you can definitely make a swirled color by separating the batch and the combine the two colors and swirl before freezing!
