Here’s what you need to make banana pudding dip:

My banana pudding dip has all of the ingredients of a simple banana pudding…which makes sense, right?! You’ll need banana cream flavored instant pudding, cold milk, cool whip, and vanilla wafers. That’s it!

You can easily double or even triple this recipe based on how many people you need to serve. If you are making this just for your family at home one batch is probably plenty. In my experience this gets empty QUICK at parties and family gatherings so I usually double the recipe.

Want to make this into a traditional banana pudding recipe?

If you want to get really crazy you can make this in layers and include some sliced or diced bananas. It looks great as a trifle with layers of the pudding dip, cool whip topping, and bananas!

Here we see a scoop of the dip on a Nilla wafer held up to show the delicious color and texture.

You can even include the vanilla wafers in the layering process and make this into a banana pudding recipe pretty simply.
