What are dessert nachos?

Dessert nachos are a sweet version of the classic Mexican dish of tortilla chips and cheese. Instead of cheese, we replace it with sweet toppings like chocolate, caramel, or fruits. You can use any type of tortilla chips, but in this recipe, we’re going to show you how to make your own with small flour tortillas!

How do you prevent the chips from getting soggy?

The key to making good dessert nachos is to keep them crisp and not soggy. To do this, you need to layer the toppings strategically. Start by laying the chips in a single layer then add your dry toppings. Once the dry toppings such as berries are on, you can then add the drizzle and any whipped toppings you’d like.
