Sharing is caring!

When it comes to the holidays you don’t have to make the same old desserts! Try out this easy cranberry fluff recipe this year and wow all your guests.

My cranberry fluff cool whip dessert is simple to prepare and uses canned cranberries. It’s a great way to make a recipe with leftovers too…whip up a batch of cranberry fluff with jellied cranberry sauce as an easy way to repurpose Thanksgiving leftovers.

The best part about my cool whip cranberry fluff salad is that it’s quick to make. Once it’s whipped up you can put it in the fridge to chill and move on to other meal / holiday prep. It’s also nice because you can just dish it out and go, this is not one of those desserts that takes half an hour to plate and serve!

Kitchen essentials for tasty no bake recipes:

When you head into the kitchen to make some of these great recipes you’ll want to have the best tools on hand.

Of course mixing bowls, a mixerspatula, and some whisks should be on your list if you don’t have ones that you love. I also like to have a set of cooling racks so that my recipes can properly cool before they’re scarfed down by my family!

I like these casserole dishes from Pyrex which are great for no bake recipes and for all your favorite dinners, brownies, cakes, and more.

You can’t go wrong with some good sharp knives and a cutting board. They will always come in handy in the kitchen for recipes of any kind, even desserts!

Can I make this fluff recipe in advance?

I would make it a little bit in advance, let’s say half a day, before I would be worried about it. These fluff recipes do not have a habit of storing very well.

It’s not a problem usually because they get eaten pretty quickly, but if they sit for longer than a day or so they will start to get kind of runny and they will lose their appealing texture.

The juices from the fruit will eventually kind of deteriorate the marshmallows and cool whip so it is best to make these kinds of fluff recipes the same day you want to eat them. As you saw, they are not hard to prepare or time consuming so it’s not a big deal to make them just a few hours before you need them.

You will of course need to give them about 2 hours to chill so don’t forget to factor that time into your preparation schedule!
