Are egg roll wrappers gluten free?

No they are not. It’s important to keep an eye on your ingredients if you have an allergy or food sensitivity.

One thing you can do to accomodate this recipe for gluten allergies is use rice wrappers like these instead of egg roll wrappers. It makes a slightly different texture for the wrapper but it does allow you to enjoy them without gluten which is nice!

There are also mixes out there which you can use to make substitutions for the egg roll wrappers but the finish can be hit or miss on these. They are worth a try when trying to make recipes gluten free but keep in mind that it won’t always be identical to the texture or finished flavor of traditional egg roll wrappers.

This recipe uses thin cut steak, bell peppers, onions, egg, provolone cheese slices, egg roll wrappers, steak seasoning, cooking spray and olive oil. That’s all it takes and you’ll be blown away by the finished result.

You can also serve these up with any kind of dipping sauce you like. Marinara would be good, ranch is always a kid friendly choice and even cheese sauce is a fun option if you are looking for a way to add some options to the appetizer table.

Kitchen essentials for tasty recipes like these:

When you head into the kitchen to make some of these great recipes you’ll want to have the best tools on hand.

I like half sheet baking pans that are quality (hello no noisy pops or sloshed cookie dough from twisting), I line my cookie sheets with silicone baking mats. These are great for all kinds of baking and not just cookies! My husband loves them for making biscuits, pizzas, and more!

Of course mixing bowls, a mixerspatula, and some whisks should be on your list if you don’t have ones that you love. I also like to have a set of cooling racks so that my recipes can properly cool before they’re scarfed down by my family!
