When it comes to making chocolate covered Oreo cookie balls, you can use a food processor or a meat mallet and Ziplock bag to smash up the cookies into crumbs. Have a microwave-safe bowl for melting the candy melts. Mixing bowls are needed for when you’re combining the cookie crumbs with the cream cheese. A baking sheet is helpful for holding the balls while they set, and using some parchment paper underneath will help minimize the mess. 

How to make Thanksgiving Oreo balls

Step 1: Crush the cookies – in a food processor, ziplock bag with rolling pin, meat mallet, etc.

Step 3: Using your hands, roll mixture into 48 one inch balls, and place on a parchment lined baking sheet.

Step 5: Melt the candy in separate bowls, according to package instructions, then remove the balls from the freezer. Dip the balls into the melted candy, and set on a parchment lined baking sheet.
