Normally I’d have to say no, because KitKat bars are unfortunately, not gluten free. But there’s an option made by Schar that can replace the original KitKat’s! These Schar Twin Bars are comparable and perfect for swapping out to make this recipe gluten free.

It’s a great way to make this recipe allergy friendly so that everyone can enjoy this treat. Keep in mind you may need some extra ones since the king sized bars are bigger! It will take more of the gluten free ones to fill up your pan.

Kitchen essentials for tasty no bake recipes:

When you head into the kitchen to make some of these great recipes you’ll want to have the best tools on hand.

Of course mixing bowls, a mixerspatula, and some whisks should be on your list if you don’t have ones that you love. I also like to have a set of cooling racks so that my recipes can properly cool before they’re scarfed down by my family!

I like these casserole dishes from Pyrex which are great for no bake recipes and for all your favorite dinners, brownies, cakes, and more.

You can’t go wrong with some good sharp knives and a cutting board. They will always come in handy in the kitchen for recipes of any kind, even desserts!

Do I need to line the pan?

I really do like the line the pan because it makes it possible to lit the fudge out once it is set. Then you are easily able to slice the KitKat fudge into even pieces.

Not super important if you are trying to eat the fudge all on your own but if you want to share or serve the fudge it’s a lot easier to make it look nice if the liner is in place.
