In terms of recipes this one is pretty simple and straightforward. You’ve got just four ingredients needed to make a tasty dessert that everyone will love.

As I mentioned above, you can always customize this to match whatever holiday theme you like. Use green and yellow for St. Patricks day, red and pink for Valentine’s Day, etc. The possibilities are endless!

The extra gelatin is to help firm up the Jello so that it can be made into a jigglers sort of state and keep its form to be eaten in squares!

Kitchen Essentials for fun Jello Recipes:

It’s never a bad idea to have some of these kitchen essentials on hand. They’ll come in handy for making more than just red white and blue jello ribbon salad, I promise!

I use my Misto sprayer every single day and parchment paper gets used for crafting just as frequently as it gets used in the kitchen!

I like half sheet baking pans that are quality (hello no noisy pops or sloshed cookie dough from twisting), I line my cookie sheets with silicone baking mats. These are a must when doing cake mix recipes which can settle and become thin at lot easier than traditional cookie dough.

Of course mixing bowls, a mixerspatula, and some whisks should be on your list if you don’t have ones that you love. I also like to have a set of cooling racks so that my recipes can properly cool before they’re scarfed down by my family!
