How to make butterfinger fudge:
- Spray pan with cooking spray and cover bottom and sides of the pan with parchment paper and set aside.
- Melt chocolate chips in microwave in 30 second bursts until completely melted and smooth. Do not cook for more than 30 seconds at a time or you will burn them. Fold in the chocolate frosting
- Mix ½ of the Butterfinger baking bits.
- Spread mixture evenly into the pan.
- Add remainder of the Butterfinger baking bits and gently press down.
- Cover baking pan with foil and place in refrigerator until fudge is firm. Place fudge on cutting board and cut into 1-2” pieces and enjoy!
Do I really need to line the pan with parchment paper?
You really do! It makes it so much easier to just pop the block of fudge out of the pan and onto a cutting board.
If you are not worried with scratching your pan or cutting nice even pieces then you could probably just cut it in the pan and scoop it out that way.

How much does this recipe make?
This recipe is made to be prepared in an 8×8 baking pan. That means if you cut your fudge into two inch squares after it’s prepared you’ll have 16 servings. That is how the nutrition information is calculated so if you make changes you’ll have to adjust that as well!
Since this is a sweet treat and not something I would be eating everyday I don’t worry too much with making it very light or calorie friendly. If you make changes to the ingredients you’ll also need to recalculate the nutrition for yourself as I can’t predict exactly how those changes will impact the nutrition values!
