Can I make this zebra cake gluten free?

Making this zebra cake gluten free is pretty easy. You’ll need to make sure your sprinkles are gluten free, watch out for sneaky gluten! And you’ll need to grab some gluten free chocolate wafer cookies!

As written it’s not specifically gluten free because most chocolate wafer cookies will have gluten in them. You can use whatever brands you like or enjoy in order to make this no bake cake recipe suitable for your dietary restrictions.

Can I make this cake recipe in advance?

You actually need to make this one in advance! This one works best when it has some time to sit overnight for the cookies to soften. They’ll get soft like cake and that’s what makes the cake like texture / layers for this dessert.

If you need to make it more than a day or so in advance I would wait. It can get a little bit separated and weird if it’s left to sit for too long so be careful not go too crazy with your advanced preparation. A day or so in advance is great!
